Preachers, Teachers, Apostles, Prophets and Evangelists
I am so drawn in prayer for ministers, pastors, lay preachers, missionaries, evangelists and all who bring the liberating word of God to a people who are so diverse in all aspects: race, gender, income, social status, language, cultural heritage, sexual orientation, religious denomination, spirit filled/not spirit filled, spiritually mature/immature... the list is endless! Yet God through the ages, has chosen ordinary human beings to bring about the most amazing work here on earth - to set people free from sin and to see them become inheritors of a Kingdom which will never fade, spoil or perish. The people who labour day in and day out in the harvest field to see others saved, needs our prayer! They need to know that the saints are lifting them up and that the burden for the unsaved will in turn be burnt deeply in our hearts and spirits. "Lord, we lift up in agreement, those whom you have called to be preachers, teachers, apostles, prophets and evangelist. May they be blessed as they continue to diligently do which you have called them to do. May all areas of their lives be filled with abundant blessing - spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically. May they know that You are with them and that in Christ all things are possible. In Jesus Name. Amen"
Its always heart warming to find intercessors who are truly willing to carry the burden and to push through, prophetically breaking new ground. I'm also part of the 5 fold ministry for 25 years now and it is not always easy to minister to the body of Christ with a "queer skeleton" in the closet... The church and Body are so eager to receive the prophetic gifting on my life as long as I stay straight and in the paradigm set in legalistic comfort.
I am truly challenged by the Holy Spirit to check for evidence of bitterness and offence in my own heart. I trust that 2009 will be a year where we will open our hearts even wider for God and that we will truly see a powerful symbiosis through the person and power of the Holy Spirit. May we grow corporately in the gifts and trust to reach full maturity in His image set before us!

Amen. What an honour to be able to pray for those whom God is using to build up the Kingdom. May we have hearts for Gods people lifting them up in prayer and cicumstance in Jesus Name. Amen !
