What an awesome time we have had on this, our first mission trip to Nelspruit. 

On Friday 31st Aug, Pastor Marietjie, some of the worship team and myself (Pastor Deborah), set off to the Capital of Mpumalanga, Nelspruit, to meet with a recently started Home Group (cell group) we have been journeying with for some time this year.

There are no inclusive and affirming Christian churches or Home groups in their city. The gay and lesbian community are hungry for God, and God has started a "fire" in their hearts to bring freedom to the GLBTI community there, so that GLBTI people can serve God without condemnation, which so often comes from the global Church as a whole.

This group are hungry for the power of the Holy Spirit to touch and transform their lives so that they can be salt and light in their city for the GLBTI community, in order that they can equip others in their GLBTI community to bring hope to those in the community that have lost hope, so that others will know, that God truly does love GLBTI people too.

We had an awesome time of prayer, healing and ministry with the people from this home group and God moved powerfully, restoring, healing and making whole the GLBTI people in our community, to prepare the way for what God has in store for their city and the Eunuch Nation.

We officiated this group with Barry Graham, who now leads the group officially under the mentorship of Pastor Deborah. He loves the Lord and wants to see gay and lesbian people set free to serve the Lord just as they are created to be, as gay and lesbian people in God's image.

Their scripture is Romans 8:1 "For there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ"

The Nelspruit Home Group, as it is known, is now part of our church, Deo Gloria Family Church (DGFC) and we are very excited about the possibilities ahead as we walk together in agreement with the vision God is setting on people's hearts on this continent.

They continue to be known as the Nelspruit Home group GLBT community.
