I was looking at someone at works hair just now and you could see which roots had grown quicker than the others because the hair colour lower down was different to the rest of the hair. People colour their hair for different reasons, either to hide their age, or to get in with fashion or to simply cover up a previous bad dye job! The thing is, the root if it is being nourished will cause the rest of the hair shaft to grow and the colour will change at the root of the shaft and a new dye job will have to be done.

Last night Pastor Debs spoke about our source of nourishment. If we are being nourised and feeding on the Word of God, our lives will be in alignment with God. The enemy when he comes to plant doubt, will not be able to succeed because the source from where you are gaining your strength, will provide! Gods Word will always defeat the enemy. There is no cover up job with Gods Word, their is complete restoration and power! Jesus says to us in John 15 that He is the Vine and we are the branches and that if we remain in Him, He will remain in us. Isn't that wonderful to know? As long as we remain in Him, we are part of the Vine and will receive the nourishment that we need to do all things! One would say to "get through life" , but when it comes to Jesus, there is no "getting through life" , there is VICTORY in abundance!!!

When you hear people saying drink from the water of life, they are speaking about drinking from the water that does not run dry and that is the water of heaven. Imagine never being thirsty or hungry again... you can have that with Jesus! :)
