On Tuesday, 29 September we had a Prayer Walk at the Beach front planned, entitled "Taking the City for Jesus" but the weather had other ideas. It poured down with rain and we were forced to abandon the walk and move the prayer meeting to church. God moved powerfully and with great authority we prayed strategic prayers over our city, Durban. We bound spirits of greed, corruption, immorality, lawlesness, violence and crime. We cried out to God to stir the hearts of people to turn to Jesus, with repentant hearts. To restore a righteous people - our city leaders, financial industry, decision makers, youth (all people!). We decreed that all opposing forces will be bound over our city and that the Lord will post centries at strategic places in our City. 2Ch 7:14 & 15: "...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place." Thank you for praying in agreement with us over this beautiful city.
