At DGFC, we are doing a fantastic new home group series entitled “Taking All 7” by Dr Lance Wallnau. In short, the series is about us making an impact and influencing the 7 mountains or spheres of society.

Exodus 34:10-12 (MSG) And GOD said, "As of right now, I'm making a covenant with you: In full sight of your people I will work wonders that have never been created in all the Earth, in any nation. Then all the people with whom you're living will see how tremendous GOD's work is, the work I'll do for you. Take careful note of all I command you today. I'm clearing your way by driving out Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. Stay vigilant. Don't let down your guard lest you make covenant with the people who live in the land that you are entering and they trip you up.

God reminds us not to make covenant with the world but to remain in covenant with God in faithfulness. It is very easy for us to try and blend into the environment we are in, so that we “fit” in. We use the excuse that “I have to be one of them in order to affect them”. This is not true, as if we are no different to those around us, how are we going to stand out and have an impact and be those who influence others?

In my own walk, at my work place, I have to check myself that I am standing out (not in arrogance but in righteousness) as people are watching the entire time, ready to judge me as a disciple of Christ. So we need to be on our guard!
We cause influence by standing out and having integrity and values. God works through us to heal the people.

Remember the covenant that you have made with God, so that when you enter the land, or your workplace, that you remember who are you called to be and what you are called to do. Don’t compromise your values, beliefs, or the assignment God has called you to.
Stay holy, focused and determined to see the devil’s strategy torn apart.
