The Progressive Interfaith Coalition of South Africa (PICSA) aims to present the views of moderate and progressive South Africans from all walks of life. The “religious right” cannot and does not speak for all religious and spiritual people in our wonderfully diverse country, and we want our voices to be heard in the debate surrounding issues that affect the human rights, equality and dignity of us all.

The International Day Against Homophobia, held on May 17 every year, is a rallying event offering an opportunity for people to get together and reach out to one another. 

 OUT-Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender (LGBT) Well-being has served the LGBT community since 1994. It is a growing and professional organisation with a proud history of striving for LGBT equality.

Our journey Gay Into Straight America, began September 11, 2005, and is a commitment to creating authentic connections with people who are “wrestling” with their understanding of (GLBT) gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons. GLBTA people (yes, allies too) are sometimes part of this group. Through everyday interactions, sharing meals and staying in people's homes, we are open to engaging hearts and minds. Being inclusive, we will also avail ourselves to those who hold firm beliefs about us.
