Our Beliefs

We are a Trinitarian church, which means that we believe in God the Heavenly Parent, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We are a Charismatic church, which means that we believe in the emphasis of the role of the Holy Spirit in our personal and corporate lives.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and in the speaking of tongues. We believe in the many gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are given by God, for strengthening and edifying believers, and for building up the body of Christ.

We believe that we are measured by the nine fruit of the Holy Spirit not by the gifts. (Gal 5:22)

We believe in baptism by water in the name of the Trinity.

We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, rose again on the third day and ascended to heaven where he sits at the right hand of God.

We believe that Jesus Christ will return to the earth at an appointed time, known only by God. There will be a trumpet call and all those that believe, will be taken up to meet the Lord in the air, to dwell eternally in heaven.   (1Thess.4:16-17)

Born Again

We believe that all have sinned and need to be born again, or converted, or regenerated, through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe God's grace is sufficient but that grace still requires every person to make their own committed decision to turn away from sin, (to repent) and turn to Christ of their own accord.

We believe that people can only be saved, or reconcilled to God through the blood of Christ, shed on the cross. (John 3:3)

Giving/Tithing

We believe in giving to the church according to both the Old and New Testament teaching.

Bring the whole tithe into the store house, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
(Malachi 3:10, NIV)

We believe in the New Testament teaching of giving what is in your heart to give, according to 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Each person should give what they have decided in their hearts to give, not reluctantly, or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Our Objectives

To minister the word of God as we receive it from Scripture and from the Holy Spirit. To extend the Kingdom of God on earth according to scripture (Matt 28:19). To teach, train, appoint and ordain suitable people from among the members of the church. To proclaim the inclusive Gospel of Christ and serve the church in all callings and areas of ministry.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(Romans 8:1, King James Version)
